In order to stadardize the system of producing teachers in every state in the country the Educational Teaching Service (ETS) which headed the conduct of a specialized examination wherein the applicant must be able to accomplish it with a passing grade of (660) based on the National School Psychology Examination. The Praxis Series of Examination

The computer-based examination is presented by a scheduled time in testing centers. Usually, an applicant takes two hours to finish the exam but the definite time for each portion of the exam is quite longer. The reading exam with 46 questions has been allotted 5 minutes, same way with mathematics while writing has 44 questions with an allotted time of only 38 minutes. The applicant is also required to compose an essay for 30 minutes.

The computer-based exam is also presented in a combined examination which will be distributed at a single session. If you are to take the combined examination there will be four parts in your exam thereÂ's reading, arithmetic, multiple-choice composition and the essay writing. The proctor will give you a 15-minute break in between the arithmetic and writing part of the exam. This test is undertaken longer than the original one because it usually lasts almost five hours.

The paper-based examination has allotted an hour for a 40-questioned exam in reading and mathematics while the essay writing and the multiple-choice writing segment both have 30 minutes each. Of course, your score could be determined by the number of correct answers that you have, donÂ't you worry because there will be no deductions for incorrect answers with your praxis exam.

College costs are going up and scholarships and grants don't seem to be keeping pace. For most, that means that college loans are the bridge to a college degree. Loans, such as Stafford, Perkins, Plus and private are readily available and many can fund their education with these student and parent loans. The problem is that you graduate, get a job and before you are settled in, have to begin paying back $20-40,000 or even more in loans. Students graduating with an advanced degree may be as much as $100,000 in debt.

If this is not your idea of heaven, here are a few methods that may allow you to cut that mountain of debt into a molehill. The first thing to consider is where you are going to school. Naturally, everybody wants to go to their first choice college and for many, that is a private, high-profile, high-cost college.

According to Collegeboard.com, the average cost of attending a private college during 2007-08 is over $23,000 per year. For a public college or university, the average cost is a bit over $6,000 and for a two year community college, just over $2,300.

If you are interested in getting through college without a lot of debt, try opting for a local state college or university, especially for the first couple of years. Resident tuitions are usually much lower than that charged to out-of-state residents. Take your basic courses there and get great grades, then you will have a good chance of transferring to the name school and getting even better financial aid, since you have a proven track record. Of course, once you've been there for awhile, you may just decide that the state school is really is pretty good and continue on to finish your studies there.

Cheaper still, go to your local community college first. Many courses will be transferable to a four year college, and the cost per course is far below that of the four year schools.

There are, of course, many other ways to lower the debt load of graduating college. Among them are joining the ROTC program at your school, joining the National Guard, volunteering for the Peace Corps or Americorps or VISTA, teaching, practicing law or medicine in certain federal or state designated localities.

If you are like most students you have too many classes, too much work, and not enough time in which to do it. Unfortunately, schools do not teach students many tips and tricks for writing research papers or term papers quickly.

Because of a large course-load or tight time constraints, students sometimes feel pressured to produce a research paper quickly, and without the tools to do it themselves, many times they turn to plagiarism, or buy plagiarized papers, and submitting them as their own. This obviously has a detrimental affect on their education. These three secrets will help you feel prepared in the event you face a looming research paper or term paper deadline.

Secret #1) Topic selection is vitally important to the overall speed at which you ultimately compose your entire paper. Unknown to most students, topic selection has a huge impact on the total time it takes to write any college paper. The best topic (all else being equal) is the one that is easiest and fastest to write a paper about.

The right topic must provide plenty of research materials. If you canÂ't find sufficient quality resources, you may have to start all over again, or change your thesis statement so you have more to write about. YouÂ'll finish faster overall, if you spend extra time at the beginning of the process researching, planning, and validating your topic.

Secret #2) Perform extremely efficient library research. It is called a research paper, after all. Researching your subject efficiently and effectively is the single most important factor in your overall writing time. Outlines are like roadmaps, they show you where you are going. At first glance, this makes sense. On the other hand, how many times do you get into your vehicle without first consulting a map? Did you need it? Probably not; it depends on the length of the trip, and the complexity of the route.

WeÂ've all had the experience of taking a map on a road trip, using it, and finding ourselves completely confused. It happens all the time, with road trips, and with writing research papers for school. Sometime highly detailed outlines look great! But then you find yourself having a very difficult time making your paper resemble the outline. The harder you try, the more stymied you get. So understanding when to create an outline, and when to skip it, is a real source of confusion.
